Philosophy of Education
Learning is one of life’s greatest joys and most fundamental rights. In a free society, education for all is imperative. In order for citizens to share equally in the services and responsibilities of self-government, all must have comparable access to information.
It is my conviction that teachers have a moral obligation to seek out the best practices in education for all students in order to ensure that they are partners in the democratic process. Beyond the basics of education, a teacher of quality strives to provide interesting and effective learning opportunities that reflect the students' personal interests and goals.
Mission Statement
It is my mission that every individual student will have every possible opportunity to be successful, and that each student's needs will be met in a safe and interesting learning environment. Looking toward the future, it is my intention that every student will learn to enjoy learning for a lifetime.
